PURA VIDA - SEA AND SKY

PURE VIDA - english translation means 'pure life' or 'simple life'.  A phrase you hear and see everywhere in Costa Rica.  However it is more than a phrase, it's their culture and way of life. The atmosphere of warm, friendly people and beautiful beach lifestyle reminds you to appreciate the simple pleasures in life and live life to the fullest.
 
*The pendent was created by Waren, a local artist from Nosara, Costa Rica.  Hand cut, clear crystal quartz , wrapped in decorative wire. 
 
CRYSTALS~
APATITE:  Most of the stones on this mala are Apatite.  It forms in a variety of blue colors. Apatite has a cleansing influence on the auric field, especially in the mental body. It is a wind element stone that has its energetic focus on clearing and stimulating the third eye chakra, stimulating inner vision and intuition.  Blue apatite has a very uplifting energy. It can help one gain higher perspective on situations, so one does not become mired in emotional response.  Can be used as a dream stone, enabling one to access the subconscious for creative problem solving.
 
GREEN JADE:  Health and abundance.  Green Jade is a stone with a heart of healing, and a stone for healing the heart. Green Jade teaches one to allow joy in one's life.  It helps one to understand that sacrifice is an illusion and that there is neither gain nor loss in Spirit. It also stimulates the flow of energy through the physical body. An excellent stone to use as an overall tonic to the energy field.
 
BLUE SPONGE: Assists with communication and is associated with the throat and third eye chakras.  Believed to be useful for the circulatory and nervous system.  Blue coral is also known as Sponge Coral, as it contains many tiny holes on its surface.  
 
AMAZONITE:  Truth, communication, harmony.  A stone of harmony both within the self and among people. It is a truth-teller and a peacemaker, assisting one in communicating one's true thoughts and feelings without over-emotionalism. On an emotionals level, Amazonite assists one in communicating higher truths and higher knowledge.
