Years ago I found burning candles at times irritating to my eyes.  I looked closer into the ingredients and found "fragrance" to be a big mystery.  The truth is the term "fragrance" is often used as a catch-all for many unregulated ingredients. The list of harmful chemicals found in fragrance is a mystery to the consumer.

I started making candles with essential oils and coconut wax for my home. The coco wax burned slow and clean, essential oils captured scents from plants and the wooden wicks created a lovely sound and light.
